RECREATIONAL TRAILS

The Parks and Recreation Department owns and maintains several miles of paved trails within the City of Tiffin. Our trails are great for walking, running biking, rollerblading, and more. Our trails can be found at the following parks:


Hedges-Boyer Park:Contains a .8 miles loop trail, with an additional 1.1 miles of finger trails throught the park. Hedges is also one of the trail heads for the Rock Creek Trail.


Nature Trails Park: Coming in 2021, Nature Trails Park will be receiving major renovations, including a .25 mile paved trail.


Oakley Park: This park offers a .7 mile lighted loop trail, which makes it ideal for evening or early morning walks.

 

Riverview Park: With a .25 mile trail, tucked away behind the houses in the surrounding neighborhood, Riverview trail is a perfect place to get in a quick walk, jog, or bike ride. 


Rock Creek Trail: With trail heads at Hedges-Boyer Park and Josiah Hedges Park, the Rock Creek Trail is a paved 2 mile trail, that offers views of the scenic Rock Creek. This trail winds through the Heidelberg University campus, making it a great way to commute from class to the park.


Schekelhoff Park: Contains .5 miles winding trail, linking to Clinton Nature Preserve which offers an addional .5 miles stone trail.
